The Wednesday Wanders
Walks around Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk
Walk Name: Burrough Green to Great Bradley: Woodland Walk
Walk Details
Starting Point: Burrough Green
Grid Reference: TL 6382 5549
Parking: Plenty aroung the Green
Way Points: Dullingham Ley, ten Wood, Waterfield Barn, Out Wood,
Distance: 6.8 miles
Time: 3hr 20min. OS reckon it should take 2hr 11min based on 3.1mph. However I'm either very slow or spend too much time looking around as I've yet to achieve one of their estimated times!
General Observation: A really nice walk through woods and across rolling fields. The route along the Stour Valley Path was particularly enjoyable.
BEWARE: when walked in June there was a very frisky groud of calves in the field between Plunder and Out Woods that made crossing with two dogs very interesting.
