General Observation:Wide tracks leading through the forest. Numerous cycle and walking routes crossing. Is very quiet outside of school holidays.
Thetford Warren Lodge highlights the importance of rabbits to past economy and is worth visiting.

Walk Description
Due to forestry work I tend to park at the top of the road leading to Mayday Farm just off the B1106.
Pass through gate and follow the main track for approx 2 miles. At junction with track turn right and head towards MOD firing range.
Turn Left beside range and folllow Fire Road 10 and take third turning on left all the way to Thetford Warren Lodge.
After visiting lodge return to Beech Way (Pink post) and turn right. Follow this, crossing the Toll Road twice. Continue till you return to Fire Road 10 and retrace steps towards Mayday Farm.
Turn left onto Fire Road 12 and continue until you turn right onto Fire Road 9. At third track turn right and follow until you return to Fire Raod 10. Turn right and after a short walk return to car park.
