Walk Description
Pass the impressive Pack Bridge and park by the church.
Take the broad track along the edge of the river towards Dalham. Navigation is easy with very few paths leading off the main track.
At the road turn right for a short road walk. Footpath is on the right. Again follow well defined track to Dalham.
Head towards the church and follow path that skirts the Dalham Hall Estate. At the corner of Blocksey Wood you can decide whether to go to Denham Castle (add 1hr to walk) or continue on to Gazeley. If going to castle you will return to this same point. The castle walk will involve some road walking but it is on very quiet roads.
Follow well defined track to Gazeley. Pass through the churchyard and continue along path to road. There is now a stretch of road walking. As you descend look out for the footpath on the right, you can easily miss it! Return to church passing through the graveyard to the car park.
